Josh's journey into footwear design began with a passion for sneakers and skateboarding culture. What started as curiosity evolved into formal training, learning the fundamentals of construction, materials, and the marriage of form and function.

The Skytop. The Vaider. The Stacks. These weren't just shoes—they defined a generation of sneaker culture. Josh's designs at SUPRA became instant classics, selling millions of pairs and cementing his reputation as one of the industry's most influential designers.

Co-Founding Clearweather
Taking the leap into entrepreneurship, Josh co-founded Clearweather—a brand focused on innovative materials and sustainable practices. It was the first taste of building something from the ground up, complete creative control, and all the challenges that come with it.

After years of designing for others, Josh created Filmsuede as a personal platform—a space to explore nostalgia, experiment with proportions, and craft footwear without compromise. No corporate committees, no trend-chasing. Just pure design, executed with purpose and precision.
