About the Brand

My name is Josh Brubaker. I'm 44, married with two kids, and I run Filmsuede myself. I design every shoe, work directly with the factories, pack the orders, answer the customer emails, and build this brand one step at a time. There's no team behind the curtain here. It's me. I spent more than two decades designing footwear for some of the biggest names in the industry before I started Filmsuede. This brand is my chance to make products without compromise, on my own terms. Quality isn't a slogan here. It's the standard. Every decision starts with the materials, the craftsmanship, and the belief that the best products only get better with time.
